My World Tour
Qatar, Dubai, the UK, Canada, South Korea, the Netherlands, Canada, Kazakhstan, Canada and soon Qatar and Dubai again. This has been the most nomadic year of my life. And looking closer at Canada reveals even more little trips. Newfoundland, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Newfoundland, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Saskatchewan. As I write this I’m somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean speeding towards the next destination trying to keep my mind occupied to pass time. My latest course is going well. I think this will the last time I do distance education. My time in EFL may be coming to an end as well. I don’t think I am leaving education as a field. Forty is coming up quick and a complete career-reboot is foolish. Besides that, I enjoy my work.
I’ll likely begin to pursue a teaching certification for mathematics this year. There seems to be perpetual need of math instructors in education and my background in EFL would come in very handy teaching mathematics to international students who don’t speak English as a first language.
