The joys of the long weekend. I now officially own a motorcycle. I put 50km on it today driving around the city with K. I also took the chance to visit the University where I’ve applied to work. The campus looks really nice, it’s close to a national park and just outside the busy part of the city. I really like the space and the quiet of the area compared to the crowded living I endure in this part of the city. Hopefully I’ll qualify for an interview and everything will go well.

Everything else is well. The trip to Japan has been paid for now, and I’m praying the weather will cooperate so I can hike Mt Fuji. There’s a good chance I’ll get to see Kyoto, and Hiroshima, as well as Tokyo. All in seven days! I’ll probably need to take a vacation to recover from my vacation. If the university work doesn’t come through, I’ve got at least 2 weeks in Sept to relax and unwind and take some real time off before my visa expires.
