The days are getting longer, and hotter in Qatar.  There are only two weeks of teaching left now and both teacher and student alike can sense it.  On the one hand, some things are winding down.  Courses are starting to make the switch from learning new things to reviewing what has been learned. The exam schedule is out and the invigilation schedule is also out now as well.  On the other hand, other parts of the job are coming up now.  There will be end-of-semester meetings and reports to be filled out before vacation starts.  We got news last week that our summer vacations have been extended until Sept 10 so the mood amongst teachers is good. Weather notwithstanding, overall it’s a nice time of year.
